About Us

Hi there! I’m Steve, a 45-year-old paraclimber with a love for adventure, community, and a good challenge. I discovered climbing in 2023, and it quickly became more than a hobby; it became a passion. The mix of physical and mental grit is addictive, and the amazing sense of community keeps me coming back for more. I even rope my two sons into the fun (quite literally) as we often climb together. They’re my biggest cheerleaders!

When I was 17, I was diagnosed with FSHD, a muscle-wasting condition that affects all of my limbs. While I’ve always been competitive, I never found a sport that truly clicked for me; until now. Paraclimbing has given me a chance to compete in something I love, and it’s been nothing short of transformative. In September 2024, I competed at the GB Paraclimbing Nationals, and now my sights are firmly set on the LA 2028 Paralympics, where paraclimbing will make its debut. Representing my country would be an incredible honor, and I’m working hard to make it happen.

Now, if you’re a climber, you know the toll it takes on your body. For me, the combination of chalk and climbing shoes left my hands dry and cracked and my feet sweaty and damaged. I looked for an all-natural product tailored specifically for climbers, but nothing quite hit the mark. So, in true entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to make my own.

I’ve been self-employed since I was 25, always looking for a way to turn my passion into my purpose. Now I have finally found it. I love creating something climbers like me would genuinely want and need; a selection of highly effective balms that soothe sore hands & feet, protects skin, and stand up to the demands of the sport. I wanted it to be natural, effective, and something I’d proudly use every day.

This little business of mine isn’t just about skincare; it’s about community, resilience, and passion for the climb;both on the wall and in life. Thanks for being part of the journey. Whether you’re here for your first tin of balm or just checking things out, I’m glad you stopped by. Let’s keep climbing up.
