Born without the lower part of his left arm, James has never let that define his limits. A mainstay of the GB Para team since 2018, he competes in the AU2 category and has his sights firmly set on the LA 2028 Paralympics. James brings experience, resilience, and consistency to everything he does.

Louis Berlin
GB Climber | Boulder & Lead
Louis is a 15-year-old climber based in Sheffield and a member of the GB Climbing Team for both bouldering and lead. Having climbed from a young age, he now trains most days at the wall, balancing bouldering, lead, and physical conditioning. Louis qualified for the GB U17 team and is focused on making his first international final, with a particular love for coordination-style boulders.

Elysia Land
Youth Competition Climber | Boulder & Lead
Elycia has been climbing since the age of 8, with a passion that started even earlier — if it could be climbed, she was on it. Now nearly 15, she’s a determined young climber who thrives on both the mental and physical challenge of the sport. Her favourite style is slab, while she’s also building confidence on coordination moves like paddle dynos.
Her goal is to make the GB squad and compete internationally, with World Cups firmly in her sights.

I’ve tried so many different hand balms, creams & moisturisers. CLIMB CARE is the best! My skin has never been so good. Struggling with my climber is no longer because of my skin being sore, dry, cracked or ripped, just my lack of strength & technique letting me down now. I cannot recommend this product enough if you climb regularly, it’ll keep you going through every session.
This balm has sorted out athletes foot, calmed hard working climbers feet and soothed the skin!
I’ve used this balm on dry skin as well as huge flappers from climbing, and it’s always made a huge improvement just overnight! It smells so good that I want to eat it (I haven’t… yet) and I always notice a drastic difference in my skin when I stop using it. If you’re a climber with soft, easily damaged skin- this is the stuff for you!
This balm did absolute magic for my flapper and was fully healed, climbing without tape in a week! Now, I use it regularly after climbing, keeping my skin in great condition.

Best hand balm on the market in my opinion. Having tried multiple brands I can honestly say this is the best. I use it for my hands but also on my kid’s too when they get dry or irritated skin.
